A few helpful things to know before your visit, to ensure your experience at The Aura Room feels calm, comfortable, and well prepared.
Appointments & Cancellations
Appointments at The Aura Room are reserved especially for you. As all treatments are one-to-one and time is set aside personally, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
I completely understand that things can sometimes arise unexpectedly. However, as this is my sole source of income and appointments are limited, last-minute cancellations can be difficult to fill and other clients are often turned away. For this reason, appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged.
Thank you for your understanding and for respecting the time and care that goes into each appointment.
Patch Tests
Certain treatments require a patch or sensitivity test prior to the appointment, to ensure they can be carried out safely and comfortably. If this applies to your chosen treatment, you’ll be advised at the time of booking and guided through the next steps.
For some treatments, such as advanced electrolysis, an initial consultation may also be required alongside a patch test, to assess suitability and discuss your individual needs before treatment begins.
This ensures that all treatments are carried out with care, safety, and the most appropriate approach for you.
Payment is required at the time of your appointment. The Aura Room currently accepts card, bank transfer, or cash.
For courses of treatments and bespoke packages, payment is required in full at the first appointment. This allows your treatment plan to be held and scheduled with care and continuity.
Online payment options may be introduced in the future to make booking even simpler and more convenient.
Payments
Your health, comfort, and wellbeing are always at the heart of every treatment at The Aura Room.
Before your appointment, you’ll be sent a brief digital consultation form to complete, so any relevant medical conditions, medications, or changes in health can be considered in advance. This ensures that treatments are always appropriate, safe, and tailored to your individual needs.
If there are any concerns around suitability, this will always be discussed with you beforehand and alternative options offered where needed.
Health & Suitability
To ensure each appointment remains calm, private, and unhurried, I kindly ask that you arrive at your scheduled appointment time, rather than early.
As The Aura Room is a quiet home-based space and there is no waiting area, arriving early may mean waiting in your car until your appointment time.
Additional time is built into the schedule between appointments, so treatments do not overlap and each client can enjoy a relaxed and uninterrupted experience.

If you have any questions ahead of your visit, you’re always welcome to get in touch.
